- Please note that the glockenspiel is packaged in a cardboard box. Many of the boxes that arrived here, after being shipped from Germany, have broken corners. We have checked each individual Glockenspiel and the glockenspiel itself is immaculate condition. -
The large diatonic single-tone glockenspiel with a range of 12 keys offers good opportunities to play many simple folk and children's songs. It is also a wonderful instrument to playfully discover the variety of tones and to improvise with sounds.
With this glockenspiel, each sound plate is mounted on a separate wooden block. It therefore offers the possibility of changing tones, removing them or - adding separately available semitones.
The wooden blocks with the individual tones are loosely arranged in a beautiful frame made of natural alder wood. For smaller children we recommend the permanently mounted glockenspiel, as here all the tones are kept together in their order as a whole instrument.
The assignment of notes to the colours of the rainbow makes it easier for children to learn to play according to notes. An accompanying booklet provides a few song examples and can be used as an aid to learning music.
