Quality is Superb
I love this coat! My 3 month old loves wearing this too as we go for walks on a stroller or carrier. We ordered the size 3-6 months and it gives more than enough room to comfortable put it on and also to roll up the ends. I just wished I had bought this sooner as it’s already end of April. But with Canadian weather, maybe he will wear it for few more weeks!
I hope the store gets more variety from Disana. The quality is unmatched. I’m slowly building up my LO’s wardrobe to be more sustainable and less of a fast-fashion.

Very happy with this purchase. My son looks so cute and stays warm. Easy to get on and off. Think I might be able to get two winters out of it.
Gold Overall
I ordered the colour "gold" in the 6-12 month size. When it arrived I wouldn't describe the colour as gold. It was a deep yellow with green undertones. It could be called moss...
My daughter is 4 months old and wears sizes between 6-9 months.. I would say the overalls fit large. She will likely fit them next winter.

Ava's Appletree mailed it to us the day I ordered it, and so it arrived on our porch 2 days after I made the order! Just in time for winter weather. It's beautiful, cozy, and durable. My daughter loves it, and happily puts it on for rain, snow, and the cold. It runs big enough that I can fit another wool sweater under it if I need to, and I think she can probably wear it next year, too.
Be careful of animal fur
Really like the quality of this coat. Got many compliments and the colour is true to the image displayed. However, once pet hair gets on it...it’s not fun to take them off. Personally, I’m afraid that the fabric can be felted easily, hopefully it lasts awhile. This coat is also great because you don’t need to take it off once you put the child in his car seat. Looking forward to buy more disana items!
High quality - and good price
This winter jumper is high quality -- the kind of thing you pass down to family and friends. I looked at a few places in Canada to buy this specific brand, and Avas had the best colour options, price, and shipping. I will be buying another next year!
Best winter suit for babies and toddlers
My son is on his second (and last, sob) Disana Wool Suit. I don’t think there’s a better lightweight baby snowsuit out there. It’s easy to get on and button, breathable, water resistant, car seat safe and adorable to boot. Like others have noted, people will stop you to comment on and ask about this suit. Sadly my son won’t fit in these suits next year, but if he did, I’d be buying another one!
Will never not own a pair
These are just the bees knees! They are oversized but not bulky. Great for layering on colder winter days or just throwing over an outfit for extra wool warmth. It’s a really cute suite that gets us so many compliments. I’ll never not own a pair as we get so much use out of it.
Lovely winter suit - carseat friendly!
These are so lovely! Nice fit, roomy but not bulky - the boiled wool isn't very thick but you can tell its warm, which I think makes it perfect for safe carseat wearing in the Calgary winters. I agree with all the other reviewers to buy your child's size to match their age. Ava's was great when I called to ask and said that the true size runs closer to the end of the size range so the 3-6 month I bought is more like a 6month size but it will fit my 3 month old no problem without being 'big' except really in the arms/legs. I also cloth diaper and wanted to make sure that the 3-6month size would fit well as we normally have to size up to accommodate the extra fluffy bum - happy to say it fits great with a cloth diaper!.
Awesome wool!
This is the second pair we’ve ordered, because it is so awesome and comfortable. Don’t have to worry about legs getting cold. Would recommend buying in your normal age group size to account for the growth that will certainly be happening over the winter. Two thumbs up.
I LOVE this suit.
What a wonderful suit! I cannot rave about it enough. We've been using ours for many months now and I'm very impressed. A wonderful warm layer, not too bulky, and of course, I love merino! We got much use out of it for going places in and out of the car, on it's own, or under a rain suit for playing outside. I also used it inside a snowsuit for extra warmth on very cold days. (I have an older child and we spent many hours outside in snow a very cold weather, and I never worried the baby was cold.) Also, it is just such a beautiful suit, and we get compliments on it all the time, from parents and even folks you might not expect to notice - evidently the sight of a baby in wool pleases many.

Perfect for a wee one
I bought these for my 5 week old son and they are absolutely perfect. They are soft and have a slight stretch so I know that in addition to staying warm he is also comfy. They work great for baby wearing as well. One of the best purchases I’ve made. Love them!

It is roomy by since I take my son out in a carrier, it's actually perfect... The hood is a bit big on him but I roll it back a bit in the front and it's great. I'd highly recommend this..it's something passed down to other children as well. Beautiful piece, totally worth the price plus it's made from natural fibres.

The size runs quite large, which is fine with me as we just rolled up the sleeves and pants. It is so soft and snuggly and I am sure will last two seasons. Beautiful fabric, and wonderful quality well worth the price.

This is the most comfortable and warm winter suit for babies. Breathable and moves with my toddler. Also because of wools amazing qualities, it just keeps snow and wet on the outside and keeps my baby warm and dry on the inside. Well worth the price!

lovely and warm
As an outdoor enthusiast, it's been a real struggle to find quality products to keep my wee lad warm for this coming winter, but I finally found the perfect third layer! It's great for chilly fall days, and will be perfect for layering. My baby is 10 months and I ordered the 12-24, as he is a big boy and there's plenty of legnth left in the arms and legs. Hopeful we get two winters out of it. Glad there are flaps that fold over feet and hands, but they are a bit awkward, as they are not shaped, and a shallow fold over.
The best option for little ones.
The warmest car seat safe option I've found. I only wish I had found out about this with my first! It was a game changer with my last baby, who wore the 3-6 month size from 3 months to 7 months and still fit by the end with the exception of the fold over feet (75th percentile for height).
They are fantastic quality and look like new after a season of frequent use.

Awesome - wool = less sweat!
The great thing about this is you can be assured baby is warm outside, then walk around the mall without having a sweaty cranky baby due to the properties of wool regulating body temps. Very well made, sizing is average/true to size. Foldover mitts and feet are awesome - also meaning we can get more use out of it by adding mitts or booties once she grows out of the flaps. :) Overall awesome purchase. Shipping with Ava's is excellent, great value and lightning fast as usual! :)
