Snappi Diaper Fastener

The Snappi Cloth Diaper Fastener makes cloth diapering easy!

The Snappi® Diaper Fastener has revolutionized cloth diapering! An EASY to use fastener that offers a PRACTICAL and RELIABLE way to fasten a cloth diaper, replacing the diaper pin. It comes in a variety of colors and is made from a stretchable non-toxic material, which is T-shaped with 'teeth' on each end. These 'teeth' hook into the diaper fabric to ensure a snug-fitting diaper with enough natural movement for the baby.

Snappi diaper fastener have become the cloth diapering necessity that "pulls it all together" !

The TODDLER SIZE is for larger babies and young toddlers. It is longer across the top ‘T’ of the Snappi. Once stretched correctly, the Snappi® fastener gives an additonal 4” stretch across the width than the Size 1 Snappi®. It comfortably fits up to a 30” waist. AGE RECOMMENDATION: Although this depends largely on the size and shape of the baby or toddler, we recommend using the Size 2 Snappi® for children aged 16 months+.

Much better than pins

I thought to begin with, I would stay with pins for the most part as I love the tradition of them, however, these are by far better. They go on so fast and easy and hold the diaper just as well or better than pins. And no fear of stabbing neither baby nor finger. The best use of these I found were the colors themselves. since the majority of them are always the same basic color( when I got them, it was in cream and green with bonus colors of a purple or a pink) I used all the basic colors for everyday use, the one purple marked that it was to stay in the diaper bag, and I used the pink one on diapers that had a silk or wool liner that would signal to anyone changing the diaper to watch out for those so they wouldn't be thrown in the diaper pail and could be hand washed instead, which happened a lot before I used my color coded snappie, because the liners are the same color as the diaper. They grab on to textured fabrics very well, like birdseye cloth, especially the disana muslin diapers. If you are going to use receiving blankets as diapers, they do better with a pin. Used these for 2 years, and have only lost 1 "tooth" out of one of them.

good quality

I bought a few cheap snappi from eBay but found them to be in really bad quality and the spikes are too big that would penetrate the prefold and scratch my baby's delicate skin. However, the snappi I ordered from Ava is much much better. spikes are just the right size to provide good grip without causing any harm to my baby. The rubber is also of good quality.
