The Beco Gemini Baby Carrier and the Soleil are both fantastic baby carriers for parents who prefer to use the shoulder straps in a crossed position. You probably wonder what the main difference between the Beco Gemini and the Beco Soleil is. Let's summarize it here. The Beco Gemini supports an infant from 7 lbs without the use of an additional infant insert but it is limited to a weight of 35 lbs. It offers 4 carrying positions including a facing out position for your baby. The Beco Soleil has a much larger frame than the Gemini and is more supportive for your growing baby. You can use this carrier from 15 lbs (approx 3.5 months) and up to 45 lbs. If you use an infant insert or rolled-up receiving blanket you can also use it from newborn age. This baby carrier has "only" 3 carrying positions but doesn't allow for your babies to be outward facing. Both, the Beco Soleil and the Beco Gemini, are available as demos in our Toronto store. Complimentary fitting is included with the purchase of a baby carrier.
