Mole memories
The mole is perfect. He's beautifully made, accurately proportioned and smooth to the touch. As with all in this series he's a delight. As an aside.... The day after my father's funeral, which was back in England, we had a short time to travel around the East Anglian countryside.. We stopped to walk around Thetford Priory, now in ruins.. There are many mole- hills around the priory, which apparently indicate a problem for the caretakers of the grounds. My daughter was distressed to read about the mole catcher. When exploring the ruins she climbed up everywhere, and down through party existing tunnels, at one point popping up pretending to be a mole. We went around the priory pretending to be moles. Fortunately nobody else was there as it was a damp December day. We still make greetings swivelling our heads while putting arms out as moles do as they exit their tunnels. Thetford was a magical experience. That's why I bought her a mole. I knew the brand was reliable.
