Retail Associate
Ava’s Appletree is a natural parenting store located in the Upper Beach. We sell high quality infant and children’s clothing and toys, with a focus on natural materials. We have been providing stellar customer service in store and online since 2011 and we are looking to add to our team. We are looking for someone with the following experience and characteristics:

Outgoing personality

Customer-focused retail service experience

Familiarity and current knowledge of infant and children’s needs helpful, but not necessary

Detail-oriented product handling

Comfort in using retail and inventory software

Willingness and ability to learn extensive product information

Competence with handling cash and electronic transactions

Creative with window and store display
-
Ability to lift 30lbs and manage stairs

Available weekdays and weekends
Job will involve:

In-person and online customer support
-
Cash and electronic transactions
-
Independent work
-
Selecting and packaging online orders
-
Maintaining organized warehouse
-
Receiving shipments, counting for accuracy, inputting new inventory and new products into online system

General tidying

Hours: 9/9:30 - 5 pm
