Crayon Rocks are fantastic drawing tools for children to explore art through colours and they make wonderful gifts that are loved by parents and children alike. We had many parents buying them to fill loot bags. What a great idea! Crayon Rocks are also excellent to take along on long or short trips out of the house; conveniently stored in a cotton bag, they are great to occupy your kids in the restaurant or in the car.
Crayon Rocks were invented by Barbara Lee, a teacher for children with special needs. Crayon Rocks are the best colouring tool to develop fine motor skills in young children as they use their fingers to form a tripod grip on the crayon. Crayons Rocks colour smoothly, almost like oil crayons, helping kids little fingers to grow strong as they spill their creative ideas on to paper. Made from soy wax, using American-grown soy beans, Crayon Rocks are completely natural and non-toxic. Crayon Rocks come in a variety of beautiful colours, all derived from mineral pigments. Parents and kids across Canada love Crayon Rocks and they are one of the most popular presents in our store!
Your Crayon Rocks can be nicely stored in the cotton string bag.
The creamy, smooth rocks come in 16 colours: red, pink, blue, sky, green, grass, dark yellow, light yellow, orange, peach, purple, light purple, brown, tan, black and grey.
Crayon Rocks were designed to strengthen the tripod grip muscles, preparing fingers and hands for handwriting.
All Crayon Rocks are certified non-toxic and phthalates free.
Warning: Choking hazard! Not for children under the age of 3.

My two year old just received these as a gift and she loves them - the little pouch they come in is also fun, she loves taking the crayons out and putting them back in almost as much as she loves drawing with them. Note: they're a little too tempting for younger ones to put in their mouths so keep away from little brothers or sisters.
